I lead Gartner\'s advisory practice on external and third-party manufacturing, empowering clients to think strategically about their manufacturing outsourcing practices, and to move from short-term transactional foci into long-term, joint value-based supply chain ecosystem partnerships. Additionally, I write extensively on the market for commercially-available quality management system (QMS) software for manufacturing. In this capacity, I advise technology buyers/end users on their QMS purchases, as well as QMS solutions providers on their GTM and marketing strategies. My research combines best practices with timely advice on adapting to changing business situations including, but not limited to, emerging business models, shifting trade policies, and supply chain shocks. I publish peer-reviewed research, advise 100s of clients annually, and present at Gartner and external conferences on both disruptive and pragmatic concepts to guide supply chain strategy.
