ABOUT SAMUEL MODUPE-JOSEPH

I’m a third-year Business with Finance and Economics student, currently on a 12-month placement with Dana Petroleum in the Finance team. This role is giving me the chance to put what I’ve learned in the classroom into practice, while also developing new skills in financial reporting, revenue analysis, and working with large datasets. What excites me most is being able to connect numbers with real business decisions. I enjoy digging into financial data, spotting trends, and understanding how they can shape strategy and performance. Along the way, I’m strengthening my skills in Excel, financial modelling, and collaboration across different teams.My studies outside of my placement continue to expand my understanding of economics and finance while honing critical abilities like communication, flexibility, and problem-solving. I\'m constantly willing to learn new things, take on new challenges, and make connections with others who are interested in economics, finance, and the energy sector.
