ABOUT SAMUEL MARSHAM
I am a Senior Consultant in the Retail Banking Risk and Regulation Team, part of Conduct and Non-Financial Risk Consulting. I am an experienced regulator with a comprehensive understanding and application of risk management and governance. I also have a strong understanding of payment systems and how the wider payments eco-system works. I previously worked at the Payment Systems Regulator (PSR) as the Pay.Uk senior supervisor alongside helping set up the PSR’s supervisory regime. Before that I held multiple roles at the Bank of England, mostly in the Financial Market Infrastructure Directorate where I focused on FMI supervision, future policy work such as the Stablecoins framework and regulatory Sandbox operations. Whilst doing this, I studied a BSC in Economics and a level 6 apprenticeship in professional economics as part of the governments degree apprenticeship initiative, achieving a 1st Class Honours.
