About Samuel Landa
For as long as I could remember, I have always been a teacher. From teaching class for kids/teens, to Sunday School for adolescents and college students, to running my own classroom, and to teaching at the graduate and undergraduate level, I have always been involved in some capacity with teaching, I enjoy administration as well, but my strength is definitely in teaching and interacting with students and colleagues. I am currently working on a doctorate degree, and my ultimate goal in completing it is to have the opportunity to teach at the college graduate and undergraduate level as my professional career!

Taught as a Teaching Assistant for 2 full semesters on Introduction to Psychology and Human Development which included preparing lesson plans, creating and synchronizing online Bb assignments, executing in-class activities, and lecturing • Taught two classes for the PSYC 150 (Psychology of Relationships) class of 600 students• Grading assignments and providing substantive feedback so they can progress throughout the semester• Sending out weekly announcements to inform students of the assignments for the upcoming week• Replying to questions students may have about the course material and making sure they understand the content• Had the opportunity to teach the following graduate level counseling classes: Counseling Practicum, Orientation to Counselor Professional Identity and Function, Counseling Techniques and Helping Relationships, and Theology and Spirituality in Counseling• Created assignments (rough drafts, annotated bibliographies, abstracts, research papers) and exams
