About Samuel Kazmer
After graduating from The United States Military Academy at West Point in 2011, I served as an Infantry Officer in the United States Army from 2011 to 2017. During this time, I served with both the 173rd Airborne Brigade in Vicenza, Italy and the 2nd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment in Tacoma, Washington. I deployed to Afghanistan three times with these organizations. My work experience while serving in the Army consisted of planning and executing both training and combat missions in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East in support of the Department of Defense\'s (DOD) global initiatives. I held a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.From 2017 through 2018, I traveled through North America, South America, and Europe with my business partner/wife as we developed a business plan for a craft brewery in Atlanta, GA. During 2019 we raised $1.7M in start-up capital and ultimately opened Elsewhere Brewing Brewing Co in October 2020. I served as the CEO and CFO for the company through 2024. In that time, we also started a boutique travel company, Elsewhere Adventure Club, where we organized a two week excursion for 20 customers to explore the Patagonian backcountry, wine, beer, and cuisine.I am currently enrolled in Goizueta\'s Executive MBA program at Emory University with an anticipated graduation in December 2026.
