Knowledge of maintenance procedures• Knowledge of systems to be maintained• following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, and other specifications• Follow maintenance schedules as outlined• Coordinate efforts across maintenance staff to make sure all tasks are completed in a timely • Ability to trouble shoots any electrical and instruments on any application.• Preventive maintenance schedule (PMS) of all electrical and instrument equipment, Accordingly update the maintenance in PMS records.• Applying permit to work and LV & HV Isolations• Finding out the root cause of failure & accordingly preventive measure to be taken.• Maintain Spares on board, raise requisitions of spares/breakdown item required. • Regularly do maintenance of all electrical and instrument test equipment on board as per their maintenance • Carry out scheduled and routine maintenance and functional test all electrical equipment in accordance with maintenance procedures• Diagnose wiring or equipment fault using various electrical measuring instruments, referring to wiring diagram, locate cable fault and arrange repair up to 11KV• Dismantle electrical and instrument equipment and replace or repair parts, test Installation and reassemble marking proper internal & external connections.• Carry out regulatory and safety devices, such as fuses, circuit breakers are properly installed, observe company fire and safety regulations.• Keeps routine records of work completed and completes logs for maintenance work performed, make verbal or written reports.• Able to read and interpret installation drawings, equipment manufacturer’s instructions, electrical and instrument control schematics, wiring diagrams
