Hey there! I’m Sam I’m currently an operator at Vale Concepts, where I’m helping build the operational foundation of a fast-growing premium matcha company. My work spans supply chain, systems, and day-to-day execution. Building from the ground up and turning messy, real-world problems into scalable processes.Before Vale, I worked in supply chain at AWS, where I focused on solving complex challenges at scale. Prior to that, I spent six years in the U.S. Army as a Logistics Officer, which shaped how I lead teams, operate under pressure, and make decisions when things don’t go according to plan. Those experiences still strongly influence how I show up today.I’m also pursuing my MBA at the University of Washington (Go Dawgs!), where I’m deepening my understanding of strategy, operations, and organizational leadership. I enjoy applying what I’m learning directly to real problems, especially in fast-moving, early-stage environments like Vale.Balancing work, school, and life keeps things busy, but I thrive in build mode and enjoy the process.I’m always open to connecting. Whether it’s about startups, supply chain, or veterans transitioning from service.
