ABOUT SAMUEL AYIBAEMI IGALI

I am a highly motivated and academically accomplished A-Level student with a strong foundation in quantitative and analytical subjects. Currently studying Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics, I achieved exceptional results at GCSE (eight Grade 9s, one Grade 8, and one Grade 7), reflecting both dedication and intellectual ability.My long-term ambition is to pursue a career in Commodities Trading or Energy, fields that align with my passion for logical problem-solving, mathematical modelling, and the creative application of data to real-world challenges. I am particularly interested in the intersection of Earth Sciences and trading and modelling how Geological factors can affect global Trade. I have already begun gaining exposure to professional environments and technical disciplines through a range of work experiences. These include a one-week placement with the NHS in Administration, where I developed organisational and communication skills within a high-pressure setting; a Cisco work experience programme, which introduced me to the dynamics of global technology and problem-solving in real-world contexts; and a Loughborough University Engineering Residential, where I applied mathematical and physical principles in an applied engineering setting, deepening my understanding of the link between theory and practice.Beyond academics and work experience, I am eager to further expand my knowledge in areas such as Mathematics, programming, and Geophysics, equipping myself with the skills required to contribute to innovative problem-solving and data-driven decision-making. I thrive on challenges that require both precision and creativity, and I am motivated by opportunities to learn from leading professionals while developing my own expertise.As I continue my A-Level studies and prepare for higher education, I am seeking opportunities that will allow me to expand my exposure to the fields of finance, data science, and quantitative analysis, and to apply my skills in environments that demand excellence, curiosity, and adaptability.
