I think it’s about time I updated this section(9 years later). A lot has happened over these last 9 years, to say the least, but maybe we can start from how I ended up in accounting in the first place. Well when I moved to the U.S from West Africa, Ghana in 2008 for college, my mum asked me what I wanted to do. So I thought, “well I’ve always been good at math, and I liked Economics in high school” So my mum said “well Accountants make money, so you can do accounting” So that’s how I ended up here:) I have to say, over these last 7 years of working in the field, accounts payable has been my favorite portion of accounting, and I am thankful to be back doing accounts payable work. Another thing I’ve always enjoyed doing, is playing soccer, now it’s become more like a cardio activity for me. So that’s a little summary about me.
