About Samuel Gonzalez

Sam is a firm believer in teamwork and the Christian work ethic when it comes to the art of filmmaking and recognizes that everyone on a given project has responsibility and a key role to play in the creation of a finished product, whether that be documentary, music video, promotional video, or short film. He has directed, produced, gripped, gaffed, edited, recorded sound, and camera operated on sets-both of his own and of others. He has worked with Canon, Sony, and Blackmagic cinema-line and mirrorless cameras, as well as the and is experienced with Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, and Davinci Resolve. He has been grateful to serve on many short films and has enjoyed opportunities to set up interviews, shoot action sequences, and choreograph fight scenes. Some of his favorite work has been producing a mini documentary about a local Ukrainian community in Virginia Beach, VA.

I serve as a networker, organizer, and representative of the Herzog Foundation while also working with a video/broadcast team to produce education-related content.
