Alongside leading a team of Relationship Managers and their assistants, the role has responsibility for leading the Banking Control and Operations team who maintain and improve the department\'s front office processes and associated key controls; the Lending Oversight team who maintain and improve lending processes and operate key lending controls as well as undertaking QA on regulated lending; leading the front office approach to the ownership, utilisation and improvement of both the department\'s data and data culture; and working closely with the Head of Banking on Banking Strategy and Performance. The role has a key focus on process improvement to support a first class customer experience, through simplification, automation where appropriate, and better use of data and data insights, as well as colleague and system improvement, whilst also working closely with the bank\'s transformation programme.
