About Sam Stetler
Almost twenty years ago a creative yet analytical teen fell head first into the world of computer programming and networking. Being very quick witted and highly intelligent he easily picked up the skills necessary to do almost anything on a computer. Having a love and drive for what I did, I took multiple information technology related classes resulting in an AAS degree, as well as studied for, took and passed numerous certification exams to both broaden and deepen my IT knowledgebase. All of this took place early on in my IT career.My career having progressed past the point of managing systems however complex to managing multiple levels of people who manage those systems I more recently took classes in business and project management geared toward a Bachelors of Science degree from Colorado State University which I was awarded in 2012 with a 3.56 grade point average. These classes were all taken while working full time. Just prior to procuring my degree from CSU I had been awarded and had taken classes associated with a WIRED / IBM performance based scholarship in Unix and mainframe maintenance and system administration at the University of Denver.In my last career position as IT Manager for ECO Products we saw tremendous growth and were listed multiple years on the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing companies in the United States. During my time with ECO we experienced 275% growth and I was tasked with keeping the company’s computers, systems and network infrastructure working correctly. During this time of phenomenal growth we also performed several major system transitions and upgrades including a complete replacement of an aging ERP system. For my part in the management of the overall process and spearheading the ERP system upgrade I received the companies 2011 William Kent Award; ECO Products version of the Employee of the Year.Currently I am looking for my next challenge; if you think your company could use someone like me, drop me a line.

the Owner and Founder of ERP Professor, I run a business and a website dedicated to providing affordable video-based training for the NetSuite ERP system.Created hours of highly edited succinct NetSuite training content, to allow subscribers to easily learn and use all aspects of NetSuite. This included writing the scripts, screen recordings, studio voice recordings, and editing everything together with Adobe Audition, Adobe Premier, and Camtasia.Built a custom learning management and content management system using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, later replaced with a very customized instillation of the WordPress content management system, using the Sensei learning management system, and WooCommerce eCommerce platform.Managed more than a dozen different web domains running WordPress, feeding into Google Analytics, and generating traffic through SEO, Google AdWords, Facebook and LinkedIn Ads, and direct email marketing.Worked as a consultant for several NetSuite projects for a few different companies ranging from programing SuiteScript / JavaScript to simple field and form customization.
