ABOUT SAM SIADAT
I am a Civil and Environmental Engineering student at the University of Alberta who is driven to make sustainable infrastructure going forward. I have hands on experience as a research assistant at the Watershed Science and Modeling Laboratory here at the UofA. I have developed my modeling skills through multiple software\'s to tackle the water issues in Canada. This role has given me a lot of hands on experience and exposure to real world environmental challenges through all t he data I analyzes to assess environmental impacts and sustainable practices. In addition to my work experience I am in my third year of my degree. I am skilled in a range of industry standard software\'s such as: excel, QGIS, solid works, MATLAB, Revit, civil3d, and AutoCAD. All these tools have been needed in my degree but also in my day to day life. I am passionate about integrating sustainable solutions as I move forward in my career in Civil and Environmental Engineering, particularly in resource management. Eager to grow, learn, and connect with professionals in the field I am open to new mentorship, learning opportunities and career paths that align with my goals.
