ABOUT SAM ROGERS
I am a Chartered Geotechnical Engineer with experience in geotechnical engineering for road, flood defence and building schemes.I have extensive experience at delivering geotechnical design solutions using a wide variety of techniques, at all phases from feasibility to construction. I have experience of being a member of a quality verification team on a major highways project.I am currently leading the delivery of foundations and retaining walls on the A465 Heads of the Valleys Sections 5 & 6 project. The scheme consists of approximately 20 retaining walls and 40 bridges, and many other minor structures.I have a real interest in Digital. During my time with Atkins I have the led the developments of a wide variety of tools advance how we deliver projects. These include a Geotechnical Asset Management platform for the collection, management and use of asset data and a quantative methodology for the estimation of earthwork risk to a network. These tasks have led me to become proficient in.Net/Python/Rust programming, PostgreSQL and Azure
