I lead the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) System at Blue Star Limited, where I am responsible for the strategic planning, conceptualization, prioritization, management, and effective implementation of EHS initiatives across the company’s diverse divisions, including Manufacturing Plants, EMPG Division, Product Sales & Service Division, and R&D Division. In close collaboration with various business units, I coordinate the development and integration of comprehensive EHS Management Systems that adhere to the highest standards, encompassing critical elements such as Safety Observation Tours, EHS Review Meetings, Incident Investigations, Safe Operating Procedures, and Design for EHS. I also prioritize essential EHS protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Electrical Safe Work Practices, Working at Height, Chemical Management, Material Handling, Confined Space Safety, Industrial Hygiene practices, Water Management, Waste Management, and Air Monitoring. A key aspect of my role involves designing and managing governance structures for leadership at all levels, alongside overseeing audit management and ensuring robust reporting of EHS indicators as per BRSR and GHG standards. With a strong commitment to advancing Blue Star’s EHS culture, I drive continuous improvements in safety, health, and environmental performance while leveraging cutting-edge technological tools to maintain the highest levels of safety, sustainability, and regulatory compliance across the organization.
