About Samrat Boda
Machine Learning and Deep Learning researcher specializing in Geospatial AI and Geospatial Intelligence (GeoINT) with a strong focus on defense and strategic remote sensing applications. My work spans object detection, multimodal EO–SAR fusion, and Generative AI applied to military target detection and surveillance.I have hands-on experience developing ML algorithms for SAR, EO, and hyperspectral imagery, including EO–SAR fusion pipelines to improve detection robustness and situational awareness. My research interests include Generative AI models (GANs, diffusion models) for EO–SAR data synthesis and augmentation, as well as deep learning–based object detection frameworks such as YOLOv7 and YOLOv8.I completed my B.Tech (Honors) from Sri City, where my undergraduate thesis focused on hyperspectral mineral mapping of the lunar surface using Graph Convolutional Networks (GCNs) with Chandrayaan-1 and Chandrayaan-2 mission data.I am passionate about advancing AI-driven geospatial intelligence systems for defense, surveillance, and Earth observation, and I am open to research collaborations and roles in defense tech, space technology, and applied AI research.
