About Sam Plank
Before starting his professional career, Sam spent the majority of his free time in high school and college working at restaurants, bars, and at a cleaning and restoration company to support himself financially.After graduating from Kansas with a Bachelors in Finance and an Economics Minor, Sam started his professional career at Protiviti where he had previously interned in the summer of 2015. He started full-time in August of 2016 as a Consultant in their Financial Risk and Compliance Practice. During his time at Protiviti, Sam worked on projects around the country at Top 5 Banks related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Lender Due Diligence (LDD).In the Fall of 2017, Sam left Protiviti and joined Dot Foods where he was a Sales Manager covering Northern California. While food and beverage sales was a big part of the job - this role really touched all pieces of Dot\'s supply chain and relationships with the 70+ food distributors in the area including obtaining forecasts, solving problems around product shortages, coordinating with national accounts, working through operational challenges, handling financial and credit disputes, as well as covering needs in a variety of other areas. At the start of 2021, Sam\'s territory was increased 100+ distributors to cover Utah, Nevada, and Wyoming in addition to Northern California. At the end of 2021, Sam decided to leave Dot Foods and join NetSuite as a member of the Solutions Consultant Academy to move into the ERP Consulting Space. During the academy - Sam spent 7 months learning the in\'s and out\'s of NetSuite and went live as a Solutions Consultant in June of 2022. Today he continues in this role where he specializes in working with Restaurant and Hospitality Groups that are looking to consolidate and optimize their internal back office processes.
