Team Leader at Broughton - Worked as Containment Level 3 Facility Manager for Queen Mary University of London- Promoted to Operations Supervisor- Worked as a Laboratory Scientist for one year- Previously worked as a DNA Analyst at Key Forensic Services- MSc Forensic Science at the university of Huddersfield where I passed with a distinction (74% overall) and did my dissertation on age since deposition of fingerprints and sex of the donor- Studied BSc Biomedical Science at the University of Lincoln where I attained a 2:2 and focused my dissertation on type 2 diabetes in the young- Use of English and Spanish fluently in both academic and non-academic areas, can also use German to communicate at an entry level- Always been part of a basketball team thus showing strengths as a team player, strategist and good communicator- Near to 2 years experience at an NHS laboratory in Wakefield working under pressure and at an extremely fast pace due to time constraints and doctor requests- Organised and hard working individual that can fully function on his own or can be part of a team, either as a leader or as a member and can subsequently achieve success within- Also travelled the world on my own allowing me to overcome any unexpected obstacles and situations encountered in a foreign/unknown location or country- What I may lack in forensic experience I make up with my interest in technology and my swift adaptation to computer programs such as SPSS and any Microsoft office program.
