Dr. Khalili is originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada and grew up there most of his life. He then went on to complete his Medical Doctorate and Master’s in Medical Genetics at Memorial University of Newfoundland in his home of St. John’s in 2009. He then went on to residency at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, where he completed his training as an Otolaryngologist – Head and Neck Surgeon in 2014. He then went to the University of Pennsylvania to complete his fellowship in Rhinology and Endonasal skull base surgery in 2015. Since then, he was hired in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as the division lead of Rhinology and Skull base surgery for the Aurora Neuroscience innovation institute at Aurora healthcare. He developed the first multi-disciplinary advanced sinus and allergy clinic in the system, as well as the first voice and swallow clinic for the system, in addition to treating individuals from all over Wisconsin, northern Illinois and the upper peninsula of Michigan. Although his subspecialty is in advanced sinonasal and skull base disease, he is fully capable to handle the full breadth of ENT, including parathyroid and thyroid disease, head and neck cancers, skin cancers voice and swallowing disorders, pediatric disorders, septal perforations, functional septorhinoplasties and much more. Dr. Khalili’s approach has always been to treat each and every patient as a member of his family (which are the people that he adores the most), giving them the time they need and deserve, but also being honest and clear in choosing the best treatment strategy for each individual. He works in a very integrated fashion with multiple other services and disciplines to provide the most comprehensive and complete care for his patients. Dr. Khalili is involved in many research endevours as well, including sinonasal medication delivery, skull base surgery outcomes, and strategies for improving olfaction. Dr. Khalili is proud husband and father to 3 lovely children whom are eager to also become part of the NCH community.
