About Samantha Mims

I’m an operations and program management professional with more than 15 years of experience coordinating complex events, managing logistics, and bringing large-scale programs to life. My career began in the action sports industry, where I worked my way from track worker to race director and eventually founded my own event company. In that role, I produced motocross races, monster truck shows, and youth camps across the country, overseeing logistics, vendor coordination, staffing, scheduling, and event operations. Running national events taught me how to manage moving parts, solve problems quickly, and build systems that allow complex events to run smoothly. Today, I apply those same operational and organizational skills in the professional education space. I coordinate continuing legal education programs and professional events, working with speakers, venues, marketing teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality programming and meaningful professional development opportunities. I enjoy building programs from the ground up and connecting the people, logistics, and timelines that make projects successful. My work focuses on program coordination, stakeholder management, event production, and operational planning. I’m currently exploring opportunities in program management, project coordination, and operations where I can continue developing large-scale initiatives and growing into senior program leadership roles. I’m particularly interested in roles that involve program management, operations, and professional development initiatives where I can help organizations build and execute complex programs.
