As EiR my role is to support the venture builder team at CityVentures to connect their activities inside and outside the university.The CityVenures incubator has supported over 350 student-led start-ups to raise £13.6m in investment.I work closely with the Director of Entrepreneurship to establish measurable objectives and KPIs for student entrepreneurship activities and support commercial development of incubated ventures by providing direction on product development, go to market strategies, pitch deck development and networking activities. I also providing training and organise events for start-ups and the start-up community, engaging in hosting workshops on AI, strategy and team building programmes. I write blogs and thought leadership pieces, and organise large-scale free-events like our monthly flagship programme Demo Night, which has 100+ attendees monthly. I am very active in networking with the City of London Corporation and the Guilds to engage with their initiatives and resources, building B2B connections for the university, and am in the process of becoming a member of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists, at the invitation of their entrepreneurship panel.
