ABOUT SAM LEBO
A lifelong Alaskan, Sam understands the paradox of living in a region deeply connected to the natural environment yet economically dependent on the fossil fuels industry. He is committed to advancing energy and climate solutions that reflect this complexity, especially in underserved regions like the Arctic.Sam is currently External Affairs Manager at the American Conservation Coalition, where he supports partnership development, coalition building, and special projects execution. He previously served as an Energy Policy Fellow in the office of Senator Dan Sullivan through ClearPath\'s Conservative Climate Leadership Program. In that capacity, he contributed to the Senator’s energy policy portfolio, led legislative efforts for a CCUS permitting reform initiative, and worked on the clean energy tax credits for holds a degree in Science, Technology, & International Affairs from Georgetown University\'s Walsh School of Foreign Service. As a student, he walked on to the varsity rowing team and represented Georgetown at COP28 in Dubai. Previously, he has worked summer seasons as a deckhand on a commercial fishing vessel in the Cook Inlet.
