About Samantha King Landis

It’s important for me to truly understand the people around me, since I’m an innately curious human, so I ask questions like, “What are you passionate about outside of work? What gets you fired up?” If I get asked that, I share that the most important thing to me is my Christian faith in Jesus. I want my love of Jesus to overflow into the ways I interact with others - at home, at the grocery store, and in the office. I want that love that I’ve been given to impact how I make people feel and the integrity that I carry through all my work. God has directed all my steps and experiences. He provided a merit-based scholarship that covered my full undergrad tuition so I could learn what I wanted to be when I grew up. I am blessed to be a Double Dawg graduate with a bachelors and masters from the University of Georgia. Go Dawgs! After graduation, I was given an incredible opportunity to help launch a breast cancer drug NILEX at Eli Lilly and Company - a place where God directed my steps and allowed me to work on therapeutic areas where my family has been directly impacted. In my nearly 5 years of experience at Lilly, I’ve had the opportunity to support multiple breast cancer medicines and most recently Alzheimer’s Disease medicine as a market researcher. My job is to communicate insights and findings from our patients and healthcare providers to decision-makers and to represent their voices at the table. It’s a great honor to advocate for our patients and healthcare providers and to ensure that our strategy and educational materials help the right patient get on the right medicine. I love getting to work with patients and physicians, but my real joy in life comes from my faith in Jesus and quality time I get to spend with my husband - Brady, our supermutt rescue pup - Marlowe, my family, and my friends. We love cooking gluten-free meals together at home (food allergies stink!), hosting board game nights in the winter, crossing National Parks hikes off our list, and wakesurfing behind my dad’s Mastercraft boat on Lake Hartwell in the summer.
