   After nearly three decades shipping software, including two years building GenAI prototypes and production systems at AWS, I transitioned to focus on technical education and knowledge sharing.Through AlteredCraft, I publish educational content on AI and software development, translating complex concepts for working developers. I also co-lead Portland AI Engineers members), organizing educational events and workshops. This work has deepened my passion for teaching and confirmed that helping others learn is where I want to focus the next phase of my career.
