At the County of San Mateo, I serve in the office of Supervisor Noelia Corzo, who represents District 2. District 2 encompasses San Mateo, Foster City, and northern Belmont, and our office is focused on tackling the deep and historically entrenched injustices that many San Mateo County residents face while living in one of the wealthiest places on earth.I oversee a wide array of policy initiatives, focusing on projects in the areas of transportation, housing, and environmental justice. I draft legislation, analyze policy, prepare communications, represent the Supervisor in meetings and at community events, and manage our office\'s large Measure K community grant program. Beyond the Board of Supervisors itself, I analyze policy for and staff many different regional committee assignments including the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG), Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD), San Mateo County Transportation Authority (SMCTA), Housing Endowment and Regional Trust of San Mateo County (HEART), California State Association of Counties (CSAC) and Urban Counties of California (UCC) Board of Directors.
