As a Director on the Management Board of OCQAS, I provide strategic oversight to ensure Ontario’s public colleges maintain high standards in quality assurance and continuous improvement. I work alongside sector leaders to uphold the integrity of post-secondary education in Ontario, ensuring compliance with rigorous accreditation and quality assessment frameworks. Governance & Oversight: Contribute to high-level decision-making on policies that shape the quality assurance landscape for Ontario’s 24 public colleges. Strategic Advisory Role: Provide insights on best practices for educational governance, student success, and institutional accountability. Student-Centered Approach: Advocate for policies that prioritize student success, transparency, and accessibility in Ontario’s post-secondary system.This role allows me to leverage my governance expertise to drive meaningful improvements in higher education, ensuring quality standards evolve to meet the needs of students and institutions alike.
