Head of Legal for the US division of an international staffing firm;• Provide legal advice to the US Management Board and the global legal team in the following areas of U.S. and Canadian law: employment, commercial transactions, litigation, compliance;• Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external contacts to drive compliant operations, advise the group on business risk and mitigation steps, support regional growth plans and drive delivery of functional and group objectives;• Oversee all compliance and contract review matters;• Provide legal advice to all staff on various state employment laws and matters, including but not limited to employment litigation, non-competes, EEOC and DOL claims.
