ABOUT SAMIR PATEL
I am a third-year Computer Science student at Carleton University, specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. With a solid academic foundation and hands-on experience in software development, I have developed expertise in programming languages like Python, Java, and C. I have gained experience through co-op positions, including working at the Canada Revenue Agency, where I contributed to software development, testing, and performance optimization. My role involved developing and maintaining applications in Java and C, performing unit testing with JUnit and Angular, and scripting automation tools to validate application performance under load. Beyond academics and work, I am passionate about promoting STEM education. As a co-founder of STEM Unites, a youth-led organization, I organized interactive coding workshops and hackathons to inspire and educate future leaders in STEM fields. I thrive in collaborative environments and am always eager to take on new challenges.
