About Samindara Sawant
With over 2.5 decades of experience in the field of mental health, I offer a trauma-focused and empathetic approach to my clients. I am trained in various modalities to support clients in their mental health journeys, and believe in using a holistic, integrated approach that is firmly grounded in core principles of psychology and psychotherapy. Using CBT as my base modality, I extensively use inner child regression and integration in my therapy, and also incorporate hypnotherapy, gestalt therapy, systemic therapy, REBT tools and principles in my work with clients. Currently in my intermediate year of training as a somatic experiencing psychotherapist, I also increasingly incorporate SE principles in my work. My aim is always to offer a client-centered and safe space that empowers clients along their healing journey.I am also a trained supervisor, and offer professional and clinical supervision to student therapists, early career therapists as well as experienced therapists. Both individual and group supervision options are offered.
