About Samina Weil
I am Global Human Resources Consultant for Fisher Phillips, where as a member of the International Employment Law Practice Group I provide support to human resource professionals and general counsel on cross border human resource issues. My career began in London, as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. After emigrating from the United Kingdom to the United States in 2001, I continued to expand my legal knowledge and skills as a paralegal for international and national law firms. Familiar with plaintiff and defense litigation for both private client and corporate clientele, my legal experience is broad and encompasses many areas of law including: international employment law; UK and US domestic employment law; trade secrets, professional negligence, mass tort/product liability, insurance coverage, contract, bankruptcy, personal injury, family, and environmental law. As a lawyer, paralegal and global human resources consultant, I have accumulated considerable legal knowledge and experience. In addition, my personal experience of emigration as an expatriate and immigration to the U.S. gave me first-hand knowledge and understanding of expatriate issues. I received my Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) certification in 2014.
