Samina is a seasoned cybersecurity and risk leader with 16+ years of experience in Information Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) within the healthcare and life sciences sectors. She currently serves as Director of GRC at CommonSpirit Health, where she leads enterprise-wide initiatives in application security risk management, third party risk management, and medical device security. Samina brings deep expertise across the GRC spectrum, spearheading programs that span across e-GRC platform implementations (including ServiceNow), cybersecurity policies and standards development, and security risk assessments against industry regulations and frameworks: HIPAA Security & Privacy, HITRUST, HHS, HITECH Act, PI, and NIST CSF.
