I am a part qualified actuary, currently working as a Actuarial Analyst at Hastings Direct. My work focuses on building Technical and Pricing Models, Data Analysis using R, Excel, RADAR, Python, SQL and EMBLEM. Prior to this, I completed my MSc in Actuarial Science form Heriot Watt University, Scotland. This granted me exemptions for 6 IFoA exams (CS1, CS2, CM1, CM2, CB1 and CB2). Since then I have cleared CP1, CP3, CP2, CB3 and SP8.Additionally, I worked at Kotak General Insurance as an actuarial intern, where I built a vehicle segmentation model based on technical specifications of the car. This involved extensive industrial research in the Motor Insurance Industry and strong technical skills in Excel and VBA.I also hold a B.Tech degree in Electronics and Telecommunication and an MBA degree in finance from NMIMS, India.
