I am an Export Documentation Specialist at Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), currently managing export documentation for south China process.My role revolves around ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in every step of the export documentation process — from booking confirmation to final manifest submission.I have hands-on experience in preparing and submitting VGM and customs documents, creating draft approvals, and processing Bills of Lading (MBL & HBL) with precision. I also handle pre- and post-manifest amendments, ensuring all changes are accurately reflected and compliant with shipping standards.My work involves close coordination with global freight forwarders like Schenker, DHL, and Kuehne + Nagel, managing bookings, container availability, and shipment tracking. Alongside, I oversee import-export documentation and customs clearance in collaboration with CHAs — helping expedite releases and prevent demurrage costs.Beyond South China, I manage Europe export documentation and provide operational support to Greece exports when required. I also take responsibility for EMC modifications and documentation accuracy before and after manifesting.I take pride in maintaining proactive communication with customers, resolving documentation discrepancies swiftly, and ensuring seamless shipping operations. Additionally, I support process improvement through onboarding and training new users, helping enhance team efficiency and documentation quality.As I continue to grow in my career, I’m exploring opportunities in Supply Chain Management, Freight Forwarding, Shipping, and Logistics — where I can apply my experience to optimize global trade operations and documentation excellence.
