ABOUT SAMI EL-RADHI

I’m a Senior Product Manager with 5 years’ experience. I work with a cross-functional team to build products that power Sainsbury’s business. I own a product backlog and roadmap that include adherence to legislation, digital initiatives, and Net Zero outcomes – all of which need product data. I have line management and coaching experience, and enjoy teamwork and working towards a common goal.Skills: Strategy – I use Lean Value Trees to understand which business goals my initiatives will achieve, and to question whether I’m working on the right thingsBusiness cases – I created and rolled out a business case form which is used for any new product requests so that we have all they key info upfront, including the product sponsor, the desired benefits, and how those benefits will be measuredPrioritisation – I use a prioritisation framework to understand the relative priority of my initiatives and to ensure my team is only working on the highest value itemsProduct development – I own a product backlog and work with engineers to create products that meet the needs of our internal customers (other teams within Sainsbury’s). I ran CSAT surveys and hold regular meetings with my customers to make sure that we’re hitting the mark.Product metrics – I use OKRs to measure the progress of my products and make sure we keep on track.Line management – I line managed a Product Manager for 2 years.
