Since his release he has been attending football clubs, schools, colleges and other community based projects across the country warning and educating young people about the perils of crime and the importance of education by telling his powerful and moving story. His experience of elite sport and insight into criminal justice gives him a unique understanding of how to engage young people at risk of crime by raising awareness of the dangers of drugs, alcohol, sexual health, gangs, extremism and crime whilst developing leadership, team building, problem solving and communication skills.Sam is passionate and committed to having a positive influence on people’s lives and using his own experiences to prevent others from making similar mistakes.Intervention + Education = Prevention
