ABOUT SAMI BENOUSSAID

I\'m a second year Accounting and Finance student at Manchester Metropolitan University, currently on track for a first-class degree. I\'m passionate about pursuing a career in accounting and financial analysis, where i can combine my attention to detail, analytical mindset and genuine interest in business operations to deliver real value.During my recent placement at Zaheer & Co, I gained hands-on experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations and financial document preparation, and the use of accounting software. This experience strengthened my understanding of how accounting principles are applied in practice and enhanced my ability to work accurately and efficiently within a professional environment.I\'ve also participated in Employer Insight Days with respected companies such as Bank of America and Enterprise Mobility, which gave me broader understanding of corporate finance, investment banking and risk management.Outside of academic and professional experiences, I\'ve developed strong communication, teamwork and time management skills through roles such as a waiter at Manchester United and at restaurants such as Giraffe, as well as a football coach at CUKI. These positions taught me to adapt quickly, stay organised and deliver excellent service; qualities I bring to every task I take on.Fluent in English, Arabic and French, I\'m eager to take advantage of these skills and apply them in a dynamic placement or internship that will allow me to grow further and prepare for a successful career in accounting.Always open to networking and learning from professionals in accounting, audit and finance.
