The Neurocognitive and Behavioral Development Lab aims to understand the neuropsychological mechanisms of sensorimotor and neurocognitive issues within individuals with chronic intellectual and developmental disabilities. Utilizing a range of approaches, including functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), electroencephalography (EEG), and electromyography (EMG), our group aims to identify markers for related diseases that will assist in furthering understanding of diagnosis and treatment options. As an undergraduate research assistant, I assist with necessary functions across the lab, focusing heavily on data collection and analysis.
