About Sam Harris
I have started a consulting company called Business NP as a means to pass on the lessons that I have learned to new or existing practice owners. I also want to educate new healthcare providers about the business side of healthcare and start addressing this missing piece of the education process. Our training programs prepare students to be amazing healthcare providers but, it most often neglects an integral aspect of being employed in the healthcare economy, the finances. This limits healthcare providers\' ability to be good employees. Even worse, some providers take a leap to start their own practice or partner with other small groups only to find out that patient care will suffer when they are busy learning how to get paid by insurance or one of the various other tasks. I am certain that I can save resources and get providers back to focusing on patients.I continue to practice clinically at my solo practice Strong Mind Mental Wellness.
