Develop and provide job readiness programs including presentations, role playing scenarios, and group activities aimed towards Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals preparing the individuals for the world of work. Educate individuals with hearing loss covering aspects of employment by providing services such as career exploration, job searching strategies, understanding of job responsibilities, job retention, and become self-supporting and independent. Locate barriers to client employment, such as inaccessible work sites, inflexible schedules, and transportation problems, and work with clients to develop future plans. Maintain close contact with clients during job training and placements to resolve problems and evaluate placement adequacy. Monitor and record clients\' progress to ensure that goals and objectives are met. Perform post-employment follow up of referred individuals at location of employment and document progress. Provide job placement services by establishing relationships with employers interested in hiring people with disabilities. Represent and participate in disability advocacy organizations. Prepare and maintain records and case files, including documentation such as clients\' personal and eligibility information, services provided, narratives of client contacts, and relevant correspondence.
