Manages project operations for the $48m U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded Learning Analytics Activity in Ethiopia which aims to improve USAID/Ethiopia’s project portfolio monitoring, data analytics, management processes, and overall organizational capacity. Direct responsibilities include contractual compliance, HR, procurement, financial management, and budgeting.•Serves as liaison with client to provide exceptional quality control of client deliverables and ensures strong, collaborative relationships with government clients.•Reports to Kaizen senior management monthly on project progress and charged with mitigating complex issues in conjunction with my colleagues in country offices and our clients.•Oversaw complex procurements on the project including office buildout, IT equipment, non-conflicted evaluation partner and utilized various contracting mechanisms including FFP (fixed firm price), IDIQs (Indefinite Delivery and Indefinite Quantity), T&M (Time & Materials), and BPAs (Blanket Purchase Orders). •Manages project budgets, including updating projections and overseeing subcontractor budgets to ensure that project implementation is in line with the target burn rate.•Serves as a supportive manager to a team of Program Coordinators and helped guide theirprofessional development and develop competencies in their areas of interest

I am an international development practitioner with experience implementing large donor programs that strengthen institutions and create more predictable conditions for economic activity, service delivery, and private sector engagement. My work sits at the intersection of program management, financial oversight, and systems strengthening for government counterparts.Most recently, I managed USAID’s $48 million Learning Analytics Activity in Ethiopia from the home office. I oversaw project delivery, financial performance, technical implementation and coordination with major subcontractors including MSI, IBM and Premise. The role combined project governance, evidence-based decision support, and day to day management of complex, multi stakeholder operations.Across Africa, South Asia, and MENA, I have contributed to USAID, World Bank funded, and IOM implemented programs focused on implementation, institutional strengthening, and translating policy goals into practical operational improvements. I am especially drawn to roles that bridge strategy and delivery and help public institutions manage resources more effectively, work with partners more confidently, and enable better economic participation.I completed my Master’s in International Affairs at The George Washington University with a concentration in Conflict resolution and International Development Management. As a Fulbright Scholar and IVLP alum, I bring a global perspective, cross cultural fluency, and a commitment to systems level impact.
