ABOUT SAMER MUALA

Dr. Samer Muala takes pride in having helped thousands of patients reach their wellness goals over the course of his career. But his most important patient was himself. His weight loss journey inspired him to help others reap the benefits of fighting obesity. This sparked an interested in the interrelated aspects of wellness medicine including obstructive sleep apnea, hair restoration, and men\'s health. He was amazed at how all these aspects improve with medical weight loss. With both a Master\'s in Molecular Biotechnology and a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) degree from the largest medical school in the country (Wayne State University), he went on to do an internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology followed by a residency in Family Medicine. He is Board-Certified in Family Medicine from the American Board of Medical Specialties and an active member of the AAFP. He also received training in aesthetic medicine at the National Laser Institute in Scottsdale, AZ. He served as medical director to several wellness centers before starting his own.Outside his secret passion for wellness, Dr. Muala enjoys a good book and laughter with friends. Though he sometimes tries to understand everything at the molecular level, he realizes the most important things in life are clearly seen if we just open our eyes. And like two molecules, he cherishes the bond that he forms with each patient he has the privilege and honor of serving.
