Work with students to identify appropriate academic opportunities upon entry into their program through graduation-Communicate often with faculty to ensure proper course registration and graduation requirements for their students-Help domestic and international Health Care Management and Business Analytics and Risk Management students adapt learning ensure a clear understanding of course requirements through performing audits explain, policies, and procedures for successful completion of program requirements-Work jointly with Admissions to oversee the success of undergraduate students in the “4+1” program at Goucher College and McDaniel College- Consult and work with faculty and other administrative offices such as Admissions, Student Affairs, Financial Aid, SEAM, and Academic Affairs • Assist students with creating systems to form strategies focusing on student success, retention, and completion • Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate group academic advising sessions.• Meet as needed with individual advisees in advance of registration, during breaks, and at other times as needed-Attend and support orientation programming, graduation, and student events on campus and virtually-Adjust students\' Plans of Study based on individual student life and career updates concerning leave of absence, changing tracks, etc-Meet with students as requested to clarify program policies and procedures, to discuss elective options in their Program track, and for general advising-Co-chair of Carey Black Faculty and Staff Association-Member of the inaugural Carey Staff Council - Governance Committee
