I am thrilled to share that I am continuing my transformative journey by transitioning into the new role of Regional Branch Banking Head, North 1 with Retail Banking at Axis Bank! This change comes after over 8 years within the organization and two satisfying and successful stints with Wholesale Banking (#CorporateBanking) at Axis Bank.My first stint was with Startups and ecosystem participants as Regional Head – New Economy Group (#NEG) in 2016. This was a new business line for the bank, built from scratch by extending corporate coverage and venture debt. It has now become an established coverage segment preferred by most startups, unicorns, and financial sponsors. Having participated in the growth journey of many young entrepreneurs, building startups, pivoting business models, and crossing the “valley of death” with various outcomes. I have seen some become profitable and others become unicorns with ambitions to build global MNCs.In 2020, I transitioned to another opportunity as Group Head - North, Multinational Corporate (#MNC), Coverage this practice was also new & was build ground up.
