About Sameer Verma

As a software developer at GCCloud Info System Pvt Ltd, I have been working on the NOC Portal for the Irrigation Department since September 2023. I have developed the backend for the application, integrating OCR for automatic PDF data extraction and iText for file merging and management. I have also optimized file processing and performance using Java NIO and multithreaded operations with Executor Service. Additionally, I have embedded a PDF viewer using Adobe Document Cloud SDK for in-browser document viewing and designed the database schema to support the NOC process.Before joining GCCloud, I was an SWE Intern at Samsung R&D Institute India from January to June 2023. There, I developed a tool for Samsung Scloud that identifies missing data during backup and restore processes, a PO Portal that tracks employee work progress, and an app that reverses different apps to identify their intents. I also created a Data Filler App that dynamically fills various device features for large test cases. I am passionate about developing innovative solutions that improve efficiency and user experience. I hold a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology, Ghaziabad. I am also certified in Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design from Coursera.
