ABOUT SAMEERA LEKKALA
As a driven third year student at Indiana University, I hope to accomplish my goal of becoming an accountant by earning a bachelors and masters finance and accounting degree from the Kelley School of Business. With the opportunities provided at Indiana University, I know it is the best place to gain academic knowledge and first-hand experience. This past summer I had the opportunity to work as a Wealth Management intern at Beacon Trust. This experience has allowed me to utilize my knowledge and expand on them to be successful. It has showed me the importance of being attentive, communicative, and the importance of customer service. I am involved in Alpha Gamma Delta which has allowed me to gain a passion of helping others and giving back to the community through philanthropic events. Kelley’s resources has given me the opportunity to challenge myself academically and utilize my knowledge from these positions and I am hoping to connect with recruiters to develop these skills.
