As part of the 2nd line risk team within LaTrobe, the role is focused on embedding the enterprise risk management framework within the organisation. Key elements that I am responsible for includes business unit and enterprise risk profile management, including half yearly and annual risk review exercises to update the risk register and risk appetite statement, third party risk management which includes owning and maintaining the third party risk management register as well as conducting onboarding and ongoing risk assessment of third parties to ensure any related operational risks are managed and mitigated in line with the requirements of CPS 230, managing risks associated with models used by business, policy reviews and updates including implementation of new policies, supporting new product risk assessments, key risk indicators reporting and maintainence, GRC system administration and overall guidance and support to business with matters related to day to operational risk management.
