As a seasoned Information Security and IT Management professional, I have amassed over a decade of experience in leadership, specialist, and operational roles across diverse companies. With a strong track record of developing and executing information security roadmaps, I have provided executive management with strategic advice and guidance on matters of information security and governance. I have formulated and implemented information security policies based on multiple applicable frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-100, CIS, PCI-DSS, MaRisk, GDPR, BAIT, KRITIS, TRM. I possess in-depth knowledge of Identity and Access Management, endpoint security, logging and monitoring of critical events, and infrastructure security architecture. In my role as Head of Information Security / ISO at Tangany GmbH, and previously as a Senior Project Manager ISMS at Railsbank (RB Tech) GmbH, and Information Security Consultant at Accenture GmbH, I have developed a process to assess vendors, partners, and outsourcing partners for potential threats and aligned on mitigation plans. I have managed internal audits, external audits, customer audits, regulatory audits across subsidiaries, and varying regulatory bodies. I have evaluated the security posture of solutions being onboarded in the company and provided regular updates to senior management regarding the status of the information security management system, including potential threats and implemented mitigating controls. As the Global Lead Compliance and Compliance Manager at Wirecard Technologies GmbH, I administered the annual budgeting process for the organization and acted as the point of contact to support various divisions such as sales, technology, compliance, legal, and audits with queries related to information security implementation. I also recruited and managed multiple teams across various subsidiaries and time zones, and defined their job roles. I possess several certifications, including ISO 27001 Lead Implementer – Information Security and PCI - Internal Security Assessor. I am a fluent communicator in English and a good one in German.
