ABOUT SAMEER CHAWLA

I am a SAP AWS Program Lead with over 20+ years of experience in delivering complex and large-scale digital transformation projects for global clients managing multiple programs and Application areas. I have successfully managed end-to-end project lifecycles, from initiation to closure, ensuring quality, scope, budget, Profitability and timeline adherence across multiple industries (CPG, Financial Services, Life Sciences etc). I have also built and led high-performing teams of SAP consultants, architects, developers, testers, and business analysts to deliver innovative and value-added solutions that meet client needs and expectations. I have led programs to migrate, Transform and Modernize SAP applications into AWS environment. I define, design, and advises a cloud strategy for a significantly complex engagement(s) or portfolio of engagements to deliver transformational outcomes. I work with business and technical senior leaders (e.g, C-level and VPs) and acts as a strategic advisor to them. I envision strategic objectives and implement solutions with multiple business and technical interdependencies. At the program level, drives understanding of business and technical requirements across stakeholders. I have extensive knowledge in SAP modules such as Procure to Pay, Supply Chain Management including Inventory Management, ABAP, Master Data, SAP integration technologies such as PI/PO etc, S/4 ANA etc, as well as AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS etc. I have also leveraged DevOps tools such as GIT, Chef Jenkins etc, to automate and streamline the development and deployment processes. I am AWS certified Cloud Practitioner, Scaled Agilest and Certified Scrum Master. I have also leveraged best practices and methodologies such as Scaled Agile/Scrum etc, to ensure agile and efficient project delivery. I have also been involved in pre-sales activities such as proposal development, solution design etc, to win new business opportunities. I am passionate about solving business problems with innovative and scalable solutions that deliver value and customer satisfaction. I enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across different geographies and cultures. I am always eager to learn new technologies and best practices that can enhance my skills and competencies.
