As a data engineer on the Data Platform team, played a pivotal role in migrating the infrastructure from Hadoop to a cloud-based solution on AWS, resulting in substantial cost savings of per month. Designed and implemented a robust ETL pipeline using Spark for both analytics, effectively processing and transforming over 350 TB of source data. Collaborated closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and implemented data quality checks to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the data. Successfully backfilled 2 years\' worth of raw events and analytics datasets, enabling historical analysis and improving decision-making. Led the migration of the Helpshift Billing system to a DBT-based SQL pipeline, achieving a monthly cost reduction of for the Redshift cluster. Developed a scalable and future-ready SQL pipeline that can easily accommodate new metrics and use cases. Designed and implemented an ETL pipeline to create a comprehensive report showcasing Helpshift Usage, meeting the needs of more than 200 customers eagerly awaiting this valuable resource.
