As a DEEP (Diversity, Education, Empowerment Program) Graduate Intern, I serve minority/ socioeconomically challenged/ first-generation students in Binghamton\'s Residential Halls. Through one on one counseling, connecting campus resources, hosting community events, and conducting DEI trainings, I work to create a more culturally sensitive campus. I directly address incidents of bias and discrimination as well, ensuring that any student who feels unsafe due to their identity is brought to justice.
